What does solar cost upfront?
Most plans are $0 down. What you pay depends on the plan you choose, and I will show you each option side by side before you decide anything.
How does financing work?
There are lease, power purchase and purchase options. Each one splits the cost differently, and I will walk you through what the monthly picture looks like for your home.
What if I sell the house?
The agreement can transfer to the new homeowner, or it can be settled at closing depending on your plan. Tell me which plan you are on and I will explain your options.
What if my roof needs work first?
Roof condition is checked before anything is installed. If it needs work first, you will hear that from me early rather than after the fact.
Does it actually work when the power goes out?
With a battery, yes. It switches over on its own and keeps your essentials running, and you can watch it happen in the app. Without a battery, a solar system shuts off during an outage for safety.
How long does the process take?
It depends on your city's permitting and your utility. I will give you a realistic window for your address and keep you posted at each stage.
What if solar does not make sense for my home?
Then I will tell you so. That is the whole point of the estimate. If the numbers do not work for your home, usage or rate plan, there is no reason for you to move forward.
